Major General AJ Feuct, Assistant Adjutant General Ohio Air National Guard Challenge Coin

This is Major General AJ Feuct's Military Challenge coin. He is currently  the ATAG (Assistant to the Adjutant General) of the Ohio Air Guard.  When I first got in the guard from active duty, I remember thinking  "How does a 2 star general get a title that starts with assistant?"  Well, in the National Guard, the Assistant to the Adjutant General is really the boss man/woman of his/her respective service in that state.  Each state has an Adjutant General, either an Army or Air Guard General, that is appointed by the governor, and each guard branch has an Assistant to the Adjutant General, who commands their respective service in the state.  Major General Feuct has over 4,700 flying hours in various aircraft including F-100 C/D, A-7D, F-16C, and  KC-135R.

The color and texture of the coin is best described as a pitted brass.  The front of the challenge coin has written on it "JOINT FORCE HEADQUARTERS / OHIO" with the state seal of Ohio in the center with the addition of an eagle on top and numerous flags on either side.

The back of the coin has small stars that surround the perimeter.  Inside this border of stars is written "respond when called".  A blue two star Air Force Major General flag takes center stage, below which is the Generals' signature followed by "AJ Feuct / Assistant Adjutant General Air".
